Following on from the well received Race Ultra 290 shoe is the lighter, lower drop version, the Race Ultra 270.  This shoe has similar grip to the 290, but has a reduced 4mm drop between heel and forefoot and less gram weight making it an ideal shoe for long distance racing.  The shoe gives optimal levels of cushioning and increased proprioception. The outer sole is flatter which will give more stability to the shoe especially when the foot placement becomes less careful over long distances due to fatigue.  It is compatible with Inov8's Race Ultra gaiter, which can easily be clipped on to the shoe.
